Terms & Personal Data for Hotels and Accommodations

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your relationship with TRVL, the booking platform that enables tourism professionals, such as hotels and accommodations, to be listed and featured on our platform for bookings by customers. They also explain how we process your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Listing on the TRVL Platform

Your listing on the TRVL platform can be done in two ways:

  • Through a third-party provider: If you use a third-party service provider to manage your listings, your listing will be done through them.
  • Through the TRVL management system: If you choose to list directly on the TRVL platform, the listing process will be done through the management system offered by TRVL.

In either case, you agree that your accommodation's details (such as name, address, description, and photos) will be displayed on the TRVL platform and will be accessible to users for the purposes of booking and payment.

3. Communications from TRVL and TWENTYONE

By registering and participating on the TRVL platform, you agree that you may receive communications not only from TRVL, but also from TWENTYONE, which is a digital agency and member of the TRVL group. These communications may include:

  • Updates about the operation of the platform.
  • Promotional offers and new services offered by TRVL or TWENTYONE.
  • Other relevant information about the services and products of the TRVL group.

If you do not wish to receive communications from TWENTYONE, you have the option to unsubscribe from these communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each message or by contacting TRVL or TWENTYONE.

4. Categories of Data We Collect

On the TRVL platform, we collect the following data for managing bookings and communicating with accommodations:

  • Registration Data: Accommodation name, address, contact details (phone, email).
  • Booking Data: Booking history and requested services.
  • Communication Data: Contact details for sending information and announcements.
  • Payment Data: All payments are processed through secure third-party providers (e.g., Stripe) and we do not store your card details.

5. Purpose and Legal Basis for Data Processing

Your data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Execution of the listing agreement on the TRVL platform.
  • Sending informational and promotional messages, subject to your consent.
  • Handling customer requests and bookings.
  • Compliance with legal obligations.

6. Data Protection Rights

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: You can request information about the data we have collected about you.
  • Right of rectification: You have the right to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right of erasure: You can request the deletion of your data, subject to certain conditions.
  • Right to restriction of processing: You can restrict the use of your data in certain cases.
  • Right to data portability: You can receive your data in a structured, readable format.

7. Transfer of Data to Third Parties

Your data may be transferred to third parties for the purposes of processing bookings or fulfilling other services, such as payment processing through secure third-party providers. It may also be transferred to other companies of the TRVL group for communication and management purposes.
