How to get there

At the foot of legendary Mount Olympus, residence of the twelve ancient Greek gods and epicenter of the immortal ancient Greek intellect, today we find the city of Litochoro. Situated at an altitude of 300 meters, next to Enipeas River, with a stunning view of Thermaikos gulf and the peaks of Olympus, it provides an appealing combination of mountain and sea. Geographically it is located in the southern part of Pieria County, at a distance of 92 km from Thessaloniki and 420 km from Athens. Litochoro is accessible via the E75 motorway (Athens – Thessaloniki motorway). Intercity bus and train services are available between Thessaloniki and Litochoro. There are: Bus Stations, Railway Station and Suburban Railway from Thessaloniki to Litohoro and vice versa.
