The island of Rhodes is shaped like a spearhead, 79.7 km (49.5 mi) long and 38 km (24 mi) wide, with a total area of approximately 1,400 square kilometers (541 sq mi) and a coastline of approximately 220 km (137 mi). From Airport Upon exiting the airport grounds (direction Rhodes Town) keep to your right and follow the signs to Faliraki and Lindos. This road leads you to the main Rhodes-Lindos route. Follow it until you reach a junction with traffic lights that only allow you to turn right. This will put you on the main Rhodes-Lindos dual carriage way and take you southward along the east coast of the island towards Lindos. After passing Kalathos, approx. 6km before the town of Lindos, pay attention: turn right when you see signs for Lardos, Kiotari and Gennadi Stay on this road until you reach Gennadi Follow the signs for Lachania and Katavia. Do not turn right when you see the turn for Lachania village but keep going straight on the main road. After 1 km you will see the sign to Mea Terra on your left. Transport by taxi or hire car from Rhodes airport or port is possible and best arranged at the time of booking the accommodation.
