The hotel's description

Leoniki Residence is located in Platanes, which is a Rethymnon (Crete) prefecture, the smallest and most sparsely inhabited one compared to the other three on the island. This prefecture is the center of folk art, especially weaving and embroidering at Anoyia, as well as ceramics, which has been mainly developed around the small picturesque village of Margarita. The resort offers guests a great opportunity for relaxation with a swimming pool, bars, restaurant and sea sports. Among the sites worth visiting in Rethymnon is the Enetian castle called Fortezza, a real masterpiece of palatian architecture.

How to get there

HOW TO GET THERE NEAREST AIRPORTS: Heraklion/Hania 100/60 kms. BY ROAD: FROM HERAKLION airport follow signs towards Hania and Rethymnon. After approx 1 hr, you will reach Scaletta village. Once through Scaletta, turn right following the “Old Road To Rethymnon” sign until you get into Platanes village. On the left you see the resort. From Hania airport follow the signs to Hania town and then on towards Rethymnon and Heraklion. After approx 45 min journey, take the second entrance to Rethymnon and go towards the center.There is only one road to Platanes but is not signposted. From Rethymnon port, take the “Old Road” out of the town towards Heraklion. After 10km the resort can be found on the right.

General Terms

Early Departures: For early departures, the total amount of the remaining stay is non-refundable and it will be charged. Credit Card and ID Presentation: Guests must present the same credit card used for the booking, along with a photo ID or passport of the cardholder upon check-in at the hotel. This term does not apply to travel agencies - B2B reservations. In case verification fails, the amount charged will be refunded and an alternative payment by cash or another credit card will have to be made on the spot. In case a third-party is involved in the payment, hence cannot be verified, a bank transfer is required. Payments Over €500: According to the legislation (Law 3842/2010, paragraph 3 of Article 20), partial or full settlement of invoices exceeding €500 in cash is prohibited. All payments exceeding this amount must be made by credit or debit card or via bank transfer. Smoking Policy: The hotel complies with the anti-smoking law by operating as a non-smoking establishment/facility Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas. In the event that a guest smokes in the non-smoking room, a fine of 100€ will be added to their bill at check-out to cover the cost of restoring the room.
