The island of Rhodes is shaped like a spearhead, 79.7 km (49.5 mi) long and 38 km (24 mi) wide, with a total area of approximately 1,400 square kilometers (541 sq mi) and a coastline of approximately 220 km (137 mi). Lachania village is easily accessible by car and is located 73km from the city of Rhodes and 76 km from Diagoras International Airport. During season, from April – October, many European cities offer direct flights to Rhodes. Alternatively, there are frequent domestic flights from Athens or Thessaloniki to the island throughout the year as well as a fast ferry service from Piraeus to the port of Rhodes. Transport by taxi or hire car from Rhodes airport or port is possible and best arranged at the time of booking the accommodation. Upon exiting the airport grounds (direction Rhodes Town) keep to your right and follow the signs to Faliraki and Lindos. This road leads you to the main Rhodes-Lindos route. Follow it until you reach a junction with traffic lights that only allow you to turn right. This will put you on the main Rhodes-Lindos dual carriage way and take you southward along the east coast of the island towards Lindos. After passing Kalathos, approx. 6km before the town of Lindos, pay attention: turn right when you see signs for Lardos, Kiotari and Gennadi and stay on this road until you reach Gennadi. White Village is now only 8km away. Follow the signs for Lachania and Katavia, and then, as soon as you pass the turn for Lachania start following the signs for Villa Seven. Free parking on site.
