Fill yourself with a “winter” mood! At an altitude of 1350 meters, snowfall and snowdrifts are common. The village is surrounded by a beech forest, cobblestone streets, stone houses and grand mansions dating back to 1900 (!!!) that will travel you to another era. A walk is enough, you will encounter, among others, the Holy Church of Agios Nikolaos, the Nikeio School (there is a photography exhibition and an information center for Arcturos) as well as the Arcturos bear shelter. Next to the church of Agios Nikolaos is the Museum of Silversmithing, Folklore and History of Nymfaio in a three-story building. There are many activities in the wider area, such as horseback riding, canoeing on Lake Zazari, mountain biking.
