Airport of Alexandroupolis - Dimokritos Airport Directions & other useful info:  By bus: Go to Dimokratias Ave. Take any bus with direction Makri, Hili and the Dimokritio University and get off at Egnatia Park bus stop.   By car: Exit the airport to the East. Turn left toward Alexandroupolis-Kipon highway. Turn left onto Alexandroupolis-Kipon highway, direction Alexandroupolis. Go through one roundabout. Continue to the town. On entering the town, the highway changes name to Dimokratias Ave. Continue on Dimokratias Ave across the town until reaching Apollonias Ave. Turn left. Before reaching the seaside you will find the hotel on your right.  By ferry / boat: Harbour (1.3 km) Exit the harbour to the left, take Alexandrou Ave and continue until the Egnatia Municipal Park. The Astir*Egnatia Alexandroupolis lies on your left.  Train station (1.3 km) Turn left along seafront road until you reach the Egnatia Park on your left. The Astir*Egnatia Alexandroupolis lies on your left. Egnatia Motorway (E90 from Igoumenitsa, west Greece to Turkish border, east Greece) Toll road By car: Take exit 40 toward Alexandroupoli/Μακri/Dikella. Continue straight 220 m. Turn left onto Komotinis-Alexandroupolis main road 5.9 km. Continue onto Makris 3.2 km. Continue onto Kastanou/Κάστανου 450 m. Continue onto Leof. Dimokratias 350 m. Turn right onto Apollonias Ave. Before reaching the seaside you will find the hotel on your right.  Bus Terminal (1 km) Go to Dimokratias Ave. Take any bus with direction Makri, Hili and the Dimokritio University and get off at Egnatia Park bus stop.
