The Fava Eco-Suites are housed in a group of splendid and unique captain houses of the mid 19th century, located at the highest point of the traditional village of Finikia. The architects and owners of the property started the rebuilt in the 1980’s with love and devotion and they transformed the properties into a spacious and modern, though with respect to the original traditional form, complex of summer houses. Today, the villas offer their hospitality in individual fully furnished self-catering apartments of various size and aesthetics. They offer a sense of 19th century history, combined and harmonized with modern amenities and serviced by 24/7 concierge staff, located in the heart of the most picturesque and virgin from the tourist development village of the island. Fava is just a stone's throw from the magnificent Oia and away from the crowds and noise. During the reconstruction there have been used methods following the bioclimatic sustainable vernacular architecture and materials which are eco-friendly with low embodied energy. All houses have wonderful views over the village, the famous sunset of the island and the Aegean Sea with the closeby Ios, Sikinos and Folegandros islands on the horizon. Our goal is to make you feel that Fava is your home, as well as that the experience of staying with us will be one of those times in life that will take your breath away.

Our neighborhood is a little hidden jewel and the most well preserved traditional part on Santorini. Here you will find only locals who still leave their house entrances open all day and are welcoming everyone who walks through the winding medieval stone paths of the village. At night, it is so peaceful and tranquill, that you hear only the wind and nothing else. The heart of Oia and it's main promenade is 700 meters, or 7-9 minutes walk through an easy walk path and offers a vast variety of dining, shopping and leisure options. At 600 meters from the houses you will find a group of stores such as SuperMarket, grocery, meat market, car rental and liquer store that are open every day from 9:00 AM to 22:00 PM. Two of the best restaurants of the island, called "Krinaki" and "Meze-Meze" are just around the corner. Do not ommit to visit the famous "Sigalas Winery" and the fantastic North coastline, which is also accesible on foot and offers many options of both organised and non organised beaches. We have 24/7 concierge staff on demand for anything a guest might ask. At the same time we absolutely respect and maintain the privacy of the visitor, making them feel like home. Our staff will assist you with your luggage and provide you with all the necessary information before your arrival in order to organize your trip in the most efficient and easy way, concerning getting to the island, renting a car, visiting museums and sightseeing and leisure activities. Additionally we can provide you with mini bus or Taxi transfer from the Airport and the Port to the house with an additional charge according to number of persons, provided you let us know few days in advance. From Fava Residences the visitors have access to the following points of interest: > Santorini Airport 16 km > Santorini Port: 18 km > Fira: 9 km > Oia central: 700 m > Baxedes beach: 1,5 km > Cape Coloumbos: 3,0 km > Supermarket: 600 m > Bus stop: 250 m
