Getting to Daphne's Club Hotel Apartments Sykia (Xylokastro) is situated on the northern coast of the Peloponnese, 117 km from the centre of Athens and 90 km from the port of Patras (North-West coast of the Peloponnese). 1. Athens to Sykia (Xylokastro) by car: Route Option 1: Follow the Athens - Korinthos highway to Korinthos, then the Korinthos - Patras highway. Exit at Xylokastro. Follow the old national road backwards (Xylokastro - Athens). Sykia is the first village you will meet. Follow the hotel's signs off the main road (left turn towards the beach). For more information, please contact us. Route Option 2: Follow the Athens - Korinthos highway to Korinthos, then the Korinthos - Patras highway. Exit at Kiato. Follow the old national road to Patras. Sykia is the third village you will meet. Follow the hotel's signs off the main road (right turn towards the beach). For more information, please contact us. If you are coming from the airport of Athens, then when leaving the airport follow first the signs towards Athens, then the signs towards Elefsina. At Elefsina the road you will be on links up to the aforementioned Athens-Korinthos highway, so from then on the above instructions apply. 2. Athens to Sykia (Xylokastro) by public transport: a. By bus: Buses to and from Athens run every hour, roughly from 6 am to 9 pm (For the exact timetables please contact us). The bus stop is in Sykia, 50 metres from the hotel's entrance. b. By suburban train from the airport of Athens: There is a new suburban train departing from the airport and brining you to Kiato (www.trainose.gr ), which is 10 km from Daphne's Club. It rus roughly every hour. A taxi can be arranged to pick you up from there and bring you to the hotel c. By taxi: A taxi service can be arranged to pick you up at the airport of Athens or the port of Pireaus. Please contact us for further information or book directly online by clicking here . 3. Patras to Sykia (Xylokastro) by car: Alternative 1: Follow the old national road to Korinthos. You will find Sykia right after Xylokastro. Alternative 2: Follow the highway to Korinthos. Exit at Xylokastro. Follow the old national road towards Athens. Sykia is the first village you will meet. Follow the hotel's signs off the main road (left turn towards the beach). 4. Patras to Sykia (Xylokastro) by public transport: a. By train: Trains to and from Patras run roughly from 6 am to 10 pm (For details see http://www.ose.gr or contact us for the timetables). The train station is in Xylokastro, from where we will pick you up. Please note that this line is currently being renovated and there is a bus instead of a train on this route. b. By taxi: A taxi service can be arranged to pick you up at the airport of Araxos or the port of Patras. Please contact us for further information.

General Terms and Conditions 1. Check-in and Check-out of your apartment Check-in: 3 pm. The day of arrival is paid in full, regardless of arrival time.  Check-out: 11 am. Extra charges apply for late check out. If guests decide to stay past this time and until 6 pm. they will be charged 50% of the apartment’s rent. If they stay past 6 pm. guests must pay an entire day’s rent. 2. No-smoking policy: Smoking is prohibited in all spaces in our hotel, including verandas and garden. It is allowed only on our roof garden. 3. Pet policy: Small pets are allowed in our hotel, but certain rules apply. Please read them here carefully before booking. 4. Wheelchair access: Most of our hotel apartments are wheelchair accessible. 5. WiFi: All of our apartments have free WiFi access. 6. Tap water is not drinkable during the summer months. 7. Electricity: The electricity in your apartment turns on with the insertion of a special card in the apartment’s electricity wall slot. 8. Air-conditioning: The air-conditioning in your apartment turns off automatically when you open the door or a window. 9. Hot water: Hot water is provided to your apartment via central boilers, which make use of both solar and conventional power. 10. Cleaning: Towels are changed: twice per week Sheets and pillow cases are changed: twice per week Rubbish bin bags inside the apartment are changed: twice per week Apartments are cleaned: twice per week 11. Your apartments is equipped with: Master bed matresses and two kinds of pillows for all master beds (down and natural caoutchouc) from the award-winning Greek company Coco-mat bed linen, duvets and blankets for the winter, summer blankets face and body bathroom towels iron and ironing board clothes’ hangers bowl for hand washing drying loft broom, dust pan, mop, bucket air-conditioning (cooling/heating) ceiling fan mosquito nets on balcony doors phone 12. Your bathroom is equipped with: eco-labeled toilet paper shampoo/shower gel/soap (made from olive oil, from the small Greek company Harisma Soap) electric heater for the winter hair dryer 13. Your kitchen is equipped with: fridge electric plates electric oven water boiler kitchenware (pots and pans) spaghetti strainer cutlery and serving utensils wine and beer opener orange/lemon squeezer crockery (dishes, bowls, glasses, cups) eco detergent (by the Greek company egreeno), sponge and wettex small basket with tea, instant coffee bags, individual white sugar sachets and individual milk portions 14. Prices Prices stated in this website are in euros and include all taxes. Apartment prices are per apartment. Apartment prices do not include breakfast, unless otherwise stated in the specific rate’s description.   15. Services incurring extra charges Breakfast is not included in the price of the apartment, unless otherwise stated. Breakfast can be served in the living room area, in the garden or in the apartments. We make every possible effort to ensure that most of the products used for the preparation of breakfast are local, certified organic and, where possible, fair trade. Read more about our breakfast here. Our kitchen is open for Lunch from 1pm to 3 pm. Read more about our lunch here. A laundry service is available in-house, at a cost of 5,00 € per 5 kilos. Transfer to and from the hotel can be arranged by the reception, at the cost specified by the provider. The hotel bears no responsibility for this service, but acts only as facilitator 16. Parking Our hotel does not offer private parking. Click here to see a map of parking possibilities. 17. Payment The balance of your booking will be paid at the hotel, at the end of your stay. If your stay is longer than one week, the hotel reserves the right to require the payment of a weekly balance at the end of each week. Payment methods accepted: Credit card, Bank transfer, Paypal 18. Cancellation and no-show policy No fee is charged for cancellation up to 21 days before the confirmed arrival date. In case of cancellation less than 20 days before the arrival date, the aforementioned deposit will be withheld. In case of cancellation of part of the agreed number of days after a guest’s arrival he/she is required to pay the rent equivalent to 50% of the cancelled number of days. In case of no-show guests are required to pay the rent of 50% of the originally agreed number of days. 19. Information on your rights and obligations as hotel guests in Greece Hotel guests in Greece are covered by a number of laws and decisions. If you feel you need to find out more, please contact the Greek National Tourism Organisation or the Greek consular services in your country of origin. 20. Data protection and privacy policy Daphne’s Club Hotel Apartments has adopted EU and US standards and policies in connection with its handling of the personal information of its customers and guests. As a general principle, no information gathered on customers and guests is to be used other than for the express purpose for which it was gather and under no circumstances are third parties to be granted access to the personal details of customers and guests.
