There are three ways to reach Areos Hotel from the Athens International Airport: • By taxi, the day time flat rate is 38,00 EUR (arrival before midnight) and the night time flat rate is 54,00 EUR (arrival between 00:00 and 05:00 a.m.). Be careful of overcharges. • By bus, line X95 runs 24h and departs every 20 to 30 minutes. It takes approximately one hour until Syntagma (final stop). From Syntagma you take the BLUE metro line (direction to Agia Marina-last train 00:20 a.m.) until Monastiraki station, where you change for the GREEN metro line (direction to Kifisia-last train 00:30 a.m.) until Victoria station. Victoria station is 7’ walk from Areos. Use the link below to get directions. http://goo.gl/maps/1GkA8 The X95 bus ticket costs 6,00 EUR per person and the metro ticket costs 1,40 EUR per person. • By metro, line 3 (BLUE line) departs every hour and every half hour (last route from airport 23:30 p.m.). It takes 40 minutes to Monastiraki station and the ticket costs 10,00 EUR per person (one way). Double ticket costs 18,00 EUR (9,00 EUR per person). From Monastiraki station you follow the directions as above until Victoria station without buying another ticket. If you are coming with a boat there are 2 ways .If your boat arrives in the port of Piraeus before midnight, the easiest and cheapest way to get to Areos Hotel is by metro. You will catch the metro (green line, direction to Kifisia, tickets cost 1.40 Euros per person) until Victoria station (about 30 minutes ride). Victoria station is 5 min walking till the hotel and is really easy to find. In case you arrive in Piraeus after 12:15am, your only choice is to catch a taxi. There is no flat rate for taxi from Piraeus, but depends from what the counter will charge you.
