In the heart of old Naoussa, on the slopes of Mount Vermio, stands a manor built in 1900 — once a family home and one of the town's silk factories, now carefully restored into Palea Poli, a deluxe boutique hotel. Behind its thick stone walls and tall windows, nine rooms each carry the memory of the space they once were, furnished with authentic interwar pieces and framed by the original timber of the house. Nothing here is staged; the house simply continued its life. Around it, Naoussa tells the same story on a larger scale — a town built on silk and wine, of stone mansions, running waters and generations of craftsmen, still alive in its narrow streets. Palea Poli means "the old town", and the name is no accident: within these walls, that town lives on. Nine rooms. Nine stories.
