LOCATION Nido is situated on the south-east coastline of Corfu, only 17km away from Corfu town and 7 km from Achilleio. How to reach us: By sea: Regular ferries from the port of Igoumenitsa (1:00 -1:30 hours). By air: During the summer months Corfu’s International Airport "Ioannis Kapodistrias" is directly connected by air with most European capitals. It is also connected with frequent flights to Athens international Αirport "Elefterios Venizelos" with lasting approximately 45 minutes. By car/bus: Rental cars can be arranged via reception and are a great choice of transportation due to the island’s good road infrastructure. Public buses also conveniently stop just outside the hotel and offer excellent connections across the island. DIRECTIONS TO HOTEL FROM CORFU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (CFU): From the Ioannis Kapodistrias Airport head left to the south of the island towards to Ethniki Lefkimis road. Follow the Ethniki Lefkimis staight down turning left after about 4km on the same road. Continue onto Kerkyras-Lefkimmis main road passing by Benitses and on to the next village Agios Ioannis Peristeron, after the tunnel, in a few meters, on your right side is the hotel Nido.
Name Changes Policy Name changes must be requested by the Guest or the Travel Partner that booked the original reservation and are subject to cancellation charges. The Hotelier reserves the right to cancel all confirmed bookings and charge a cancellation fee as per cancellation policy for all released rooms and release all rooms held for the previously confirmed bookings for the remaining of the period covered by this Agreement. Meal supplement policy ATTENTION: If the supplements are not selected according to the number of persons staying in the same room, any extra costs will be charged upon arrival. Climate Change Resilience Tax to apply from January 2025 Applicable Taxes Charges: Stay Period: 1st November -31st of March A 4€ Climate Change Resilience tax charge has been added to the per night room and basic board rate, to be paid by the guest upon arrival. The hotel reserves the right not to accommodate the guest if they refuse to pay the tax. If Climate Change Resilience tax rate change, the prevailing tax rates at the time of the guest stay will be charged. The hotel reserves the right in the event of new taxes being imposed to introduce these in accordance with Greek law. Pet Policy Type of pets allowed: Cats and small dogs up to 8kg – One pet allowed in every room. Pet must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guest. All pet vaccinations, especially anti-rabies must be current and valid. Vaccination certificate must be presented to the Front Desk upon check-in and certification that the pet does not carry any infectious diseases which may be transmitted to humans. All pets must be clean, well-groomed, and completely free of fleas and ticks. Pets should not be in heat or menstrual period during time of check in. Pet must be kept always in a carrier or on a leash when in the hotel or on hotel property unless it is in the guest's room with the door closed. Pets must never be left unattended. Pets are not allowed in any food and beverage outlets, gym, spa and pool areas of the hotel. This exclusion does not apply to guide dogs. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet on hotel property and in the neighborhood. Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced. Guests must contact the front desk to arrange for a convenient time for servicing their room. Guests are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from their pet. Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel, its owners and its operator from all liability and damage suffered because of the guest's pet. The guest is required to give a security deposit, equivalent to 100€, upon check-in. The room/s will be inspected upon check-out. The security deposit will cover any damages incurred which may include, but are not limited to, stained bedding, stained linen, scratches on the furniture, scratches on the floor, infestation, extra cleaning that may be required and lost revenue charges whilst the room is out of service due to cleaning and repairs. The security deposit will be returned to the registered guest after receipt of clearance that no damage was found and no other extra cleaning efforts were required. The hotel reserves the right to charge guest's account commensurate to the cost of such damages. Cats and/or dogs must ideally be trained and well mannered. Guests that will not comply, will be requested to find alternative accommodation and 100% cancellation fees will be charged for all the remaining nights. The management reserves the right to ask the guests to remove their pet from the hotel premises, should the guests refuse to comply with the above policies of the hotel Limit for cash payments established by Greek law & Company Invoices Cash payments (including VAT) for the purchase of products and services are permissible under 500 euros. Beyond that limit, payments should be done via bank accounts or credit/debit cards. In case you wish to receive an invoice, please click the invoice option in the online reservation form. Full company details need to be completed and deposit is required through a company credit card or a business account. Foreign Currency Payments Payments for your reservation will be processed in the property’s local currency. The exchange rate at the time of payment may vary from the rate shown at the time of booking. Additionally, your bank may charge a foreign transaction fee according to their policies. Hotel with Flight Important Information Mar-Bella Collection does not sell package holidays, if after selecting and paying for your accommodation, you book additional travel services for your holiday such as a flight you will not benefit from rights applying to packages under EU Directive 90/314 1990 on Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours. Your accommodation and any flight which you may book via our website are each booked separately by you. Your contract for your hotel accommodation will be directly with Mar-Bella Collection and subject to our booking terms and conditions which you should read before confirming your booking.
