We would like to inform you that our hotel is located in Sofokleous square, at the heart of the picturesque Medieval City. However, please note that vehicles are not allowed to enter the walls unless they have the residents’ sign. Regular taxi drivers are not allowed inside the Medieval City. Instead, they will drop you outside one of the gates. The cost from the airport to the Medieval City gates with a regular taxi will be approximately Euro 30.00. If you carry light luggage, you can ask to be dropped at St. John’s gate (“Kokkini Porta”, in Greek), which is one of the various entrances/exits of the Medieval City and the most convenient to get to the hotel on foot (about 4 minutes of walking). Because the streets in the Medieval City are cobbled and extremely unfriendly to wheeled luggage, if you wish us to assist you with your luggage, you can ask to be dropped at Akadia gate (the main gate of the Medieval City) instead. You can call us (0030-22410-77277) 20 minutes before arriving to the gate, in order to have someone meet and drive you to the hotel in our car. Our car can drive only from the Akadia gate to the hotel. This service will be free of charge. Alternatively, your option for an easier transport from Rhodes airport to the hotel is a private transfer. Our driver will have a sign with your family name at the airport terminal, pick you up and drive you to the Akadia gate, where we will meet you and continue the transfer with the hotel’s car. The cost of the transfer will be Euro 50.00 and, should you pick that option, you will find out it is well worth it, as you will avoid all public transportation.
