If you come from Athens, you may follow the route Athens-Tripoli-Sparta (exit 10, Tegea, Sparta, without tolls)-Gytheio-Areopoli or the new route Athens-Tripoli-Direction to Lefktro-Sparta-Gytheio-Areopoli. 1,2km after Areopoli, turn left at the Armantanis sign. Drive straight ahead for 300m until you reach the hotel. • Distance from Athens: 295 km (3h 15΄) • Distance from Kalamata: 81 km (1h 45') Alternatively By bus: Athens – Sparta (3 hours), Sparta – Gytheio 45' (44km) and Gytheio - Areopoli 30' (28km) By plane: From Athens or abroad with charter flight to Kalamata. The distance of Kalamata's airport from Areopoli is 90 km.
