OKUPA is an alternative to the traditional Athenian hospitality scene with a unique concept that caters to the needs of today’s modern traveller: the multicultural wanderer, who is looking for one place that serves as a platform for networking, relaxation, inspiration, and communal sharing.
Our interpretation of the Spanish word “ocupar” (to occupy) therefore stands for the reinvention of spaces: behind even the smallest of our decisions lies our mission to connect communities across borders and build a bridge between locals and travellers.
Okupa is more than a hotel, it is a lighthouse of culture with a distinctive social footprint. It is an urban hub feeding any type of cultural hunger and curiosity around music, arts, food and culture.
Locals and travellers seamlessly interact by sharing food and cocktails, joining offbeat movement and wellbeing classes, craft workshops, and engaging in cultural activities.
