In the outskirts of Preveza city facing the Amvrakikos Gulf, Margarona Royal enjoys a privileged location amongst its surrounding places with rich history from ancient Greek and roman times. Today the shallow water lagoons formed by the gulf and the double delta river system comprise a protected ecosystem that nests over 250 rare bird species.
The hotel reopened in April 2009 after an extensive renovation and welcomes the guest in the familiar rich yet modernly upgraded environment.
